Troy Davis is set to be executed by the state of Georgia on September 21st for a crime he may not have committed. The U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear his final appeal earlier this year. But the story remains the same – Troy Davis could very well be innocent.
Davis was convicted on the basis of witness testimony – seven of the nine original witnesses have since recanted or changed their testimony. There should be benefit concerts or stuff like this cause I guess the public interest is less high than for the last execution date. Hope they’ll/we’ll raise attention in that short time in order to save his life.
I live in GA. So this is pretty personal. F*** THE SYSTEM!!!!!!

It’s about the same kind of case happening in the seventies in France.
