Dear members of Rage Against the Machine. How are you?
As you probably know, the SWU Brazilian Festival is a festival that preaches sustainability. You guys that always fought against social segregation should also know the exorbitant and absurd values that this festival is
charging into a Third World country. In our country the minimum wage is around U$ 300. The Festival will be divided into two pits. Normal Pit, and the Premium Pit. The Premium pit favors the public because it
occupies roughly one third of the total area, and it is close to the stage, actually just in front of thetage. Normal Pit occupies the other two thirds of the site, and is far away from the stage, everybody behind the Premium Pit. The Festival will consist of three days, and the values for each day will be:
    Normal Pit - U$ 140 and
    Premium Pit U$365 per person.
If you want to watch three days of the Festival, you will spend at least U$ 420 on the Normal Pit, and U$ 1,095 for three days on the Premium Pit, close to the stage.
Also we have camping areas, and check out the absurdity, the camping area will be divided into Normal and VIP area. This event that preaches sustainability, on the other hand separates people by social class. Many people want to see your concert, but many do not have money for that. Brazil is a poor country, and a person can not spend half his salary for a day of concert. I write to you guys asking you to review the true intentions of
this event, that is enriching the organizers. You who always fought for social causes, have always fought against that capitalism, do not spoil the name of the band playing in an event like this, or at least attempting a
deal with the organizers for something fairer. For all of us Brazilians with little income, so we could attend a concert at which we expect for 18 years. We love your band in Brazil, but unfortunately this prices are
preventing us from seeing you play. My sincere thanks.

    Fabricio Pereira
