February 6 marks the 33rd year that American Indian activist Leonard Peltier has been held in prison. Arrested and convicted of a crime on flimsy-to-nonexistent evidence in 1975, Peltier’s efforts for justice have been thwarted again and again. His supporters are urging people to take action in the hopes that the new presidential administration might right decades of wrong.
